PERSPECTIVES DE MERCADO
The perspectives are favorable to the increase of the demand, because some companies are extending its domestic markets and external. The Antarctica group has a project of a plant of cooling, in the system of surmounting, China, and is promoting an performance more aggressive to place its products in U.S.A., Europe Asia and Japan. It is, also, investing more in the marketing of guaraná in the domestic market. These factors would make possible the increase of its capacity of extract production in the plant of Maués/AM. The Company Brahma Brewery will manufacture extract in Manaus/AM, where it will produce all boiled must to be used in its cooling e, according to Nilson Brandão Jr. (Leading Brazilian business newspaper of 11/06/98), the investments are of US39 millions in the construction of the plant. Cocaine-Glue (company that also distributes cooling guaraná) invested to US$100 millions in its megafábrica of extracts, in Manaus/AM, to take care of to the Latin American market.
